Edwards. Mrs. A. C. Larick and son John were visitors In Price Saturday. Mrs. John Robertson and Mrs. Will Thomas were hostesses to the Ladies Aid of the M. E. church Friday. Fri-day. Copperton Engagement Announced Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Tietjen of Monroe, Utah, have announced the engagement of their sister, Miss Minerva Min-erva Willardson of Salt Lake, to Richard J. Smith of Copperton. The marriage will take place at the Tietjen Tiet-jen home Thanksgiving day. A number of parties have been given the past week and several showers planned for the bride-elect. Mr. Smith has been employed by the Utah Copper company for many years. The couple will make their home in Copperton. Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Pumpfrey and family, former Provo residents have moved to Copperton to make their home. Miss Freda Nielson and Miss Agnes Ag-nes Harrington of Salt Lake were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Bowlby, Sunday. Relief Society Entertains The officers and teachers of the L. D. S. Relief Society entertained at a party honoring Mrs. P.O. Loveless Love-less and Mrs. Harry Brown at the Loveless home. They were presented present-ed with gifts, late refreshments were served to eleven members.. |
