Preparations Maturing For Library Opening Tho Public Library Committee held n meeting this week ond-perfected arrangements for closing up tho can. vnss for llbrnry books, prior to tho opening of the Free, Public Library; The canvassing commlttco will hnvo completed their soliciting for books by Thursday evening, when n meeting meet-ing of nil tho committees will bo hold and a detailed report bo given in. Saturday conveyances will call and collect all tho books that have been donated, so that of any ono has been missed It will bo well for them to telephone or send'word to tho chairman, chair-man, Mr. Alma Greenwood, who will see that their books aro collected. At an early date after tho books aro collected, they will bo placed on tho shelves in tlio library, und Miss Downey, tho stato librarian, will como horo from Salt Lako City nnd list tho books. She will also suggest n list of books for purchase, bo that tho choico will, with those donated, bo n well rounded out ono. When this will have, been accomplished accom-plished there will be a formal opening open-ing of the library, with appropriate exercises, etc.
