Show BOND ON SOUTH FORK MINE special correspondence spokane wash april 8 wi wibur bur D greenough john T omo robert A koontz george chew and W H stowell of spokane have taken a bond for on the three quarters interest in the south fork mine a gold property between golden and elk city idaho owned by alfred adams jr of atlantic city N J in which frank peck manager owns a quarter qu arter interest in erest the new owners will incorporate as the south fork mining company mr stowell gave out the following statement regarding the companas comp anys plans we will remodel and enlarge the plant at once among the new equipment already ordered are two concentrating tables and a riff riffle ae plate we do not propose to increase the number of stamps at present but as soon as we get the mill moved to a new site on the river below the portal of our proposed no 3 tunnel we intend to add fifteen more stamps and a proportionate complement of concentrating machinery in the meantime we will develop our water right on the south fork with a view to superceding superseding super ceding the present charcoal gas generating machine which provides power for the mill and install a 50 horsepower electric motor as soon as possible the new development work we have planned for the mine will be a no 3 working tunnel starting from a point eighty feet above the river it will have to be driven feet on the ledge to get under the portal of our present main workings or no 2 tunnel is approximately feet in length and is all in ore at the face it has a depth of feet the ore reserves in sight above it are estimated at |
