| Show COLORADO RIVER COPPER news goldfield nev A new district of immense possibilities as a producer of copper is being opened by goldfield men about sixty miles from las vegas land and six miles back from colorado river P H mclaughlin who is heavily interested te in the new district which is called fredellen Pre dellen returned from this this week and brings glowing reports of the outlook 1 I have been in a good many camps but I 1 never saw such a showing on the surface as there is down there he said 1 I believe that it will beat the world for copper when it is properly opened up we have veins there feet wide the whole mass of which will go from 6 ito 8 per cent copper with some silver and gold through it are streaks two and three feet wide that will run from 40 to 0 60 per cent and it is almost impossible to estimate the production that can bi be made when worked on a large scale it is not a proposition of one or two veins coursing through the district for there are plenty of them scattering over a wide territory I 1 have been watching develop ments in some of the new smelter propositions that give promise of accomplishing a great deal at a reasonably outlay of cash for a plant and if the fink process of that kind will be put in before the year is out to reduce the ores to ito copper bullion before being ng shipped there are now about fifteen men in the district we are opening our property as fast as we can and there will be a big rush in there when the country wakes up to a realization of the great mineral resources it is bound to b be e one of the greatest camps in the state |
