TOO MUCH WATER DECREED Court Orders Provide for Six Times the Plow of Of Ogden den River The Tita district court recognIzes recognises O see sec second oral ond feet of at Irrigation water in Ogden river and gives directions for Its apportionment apportionment but as a matter of fact dur lag ing the tho irrigation season there is not one sixth of that quantity to be distributed This tact fact has been deduced by Frank Stratford water commissioner for the district comprising Ogden river and its tributaries Taking this into consideration tion it is little to be wondered at that the tho court records are never free from lit gation over the tho waters of the tho stream There havo been numerous cases threshed out in Ia the tho Weber county court house and Mr Stratford has baa carefully exam examined bred ined all the tho decrees He finds that these decrees have defined tim tho rights of vari various van vanous ous individuals and communities say saying lug ing what amount of water was the right of each The Tho decrees have been rca ren rendered tiered dered by different judges each with dir dif different ferent evidence before hint him and no ono one of them pretended to dispose of feet of water but taking them all Into con consideration it is Ia found that In order to obey all the tho decrees and apportion the water aa an directed there would have to ba be banot benot not less than O second feet of water in inthe Inthe the river As s there is but sixty second feet to be dealt with the water commis commissioner abner finds It rather difficult to keep peace amongst all those whose rights have been defined
