Stork Shower Mrs. Carrie Doyle, M'rs. Ida Mugfur, Mrs. Amy Walters enter-tained Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Doyle with a stork shower honoring Mrs. Eiarl Wal-ters. The evening was spent play-ing Five Hundred with prizes going to Mrs. Illean Tyson, Mrs. Rachael Parks and Mrs. Patsy Peterson. Luncheon was served Mrs. Walters, Mrs. Irene Mayne, o. 2 Fir 'Auxiliary Mrs. T. A. Masters was hos-tess Monday evening to the No. 2 Fire auxiliary. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Vern Faddis, Mrs. Bessie West and Mrs. Tory Tobiason. Mrs. Elaln Eden, a new member, was welcomed into the auxiliary. Junior Legion Auxiliary The American Legion Junior auxiliary met Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. C. A. Mor-le- y. Plans were made for the meeting in April with the Legion auxiliary, when Juniors take charge of the meeting. The Mis-ses Maurlne land Darlene Morley were hostesses. No. 1 plre Auxiliary Mrs. William Cook entertained the No. 1 Fire auxiliary Mon-day evening. Mrs. John Creedon, Mrs. Jack Householder and Mrs. Earl James won prizes at dards. Macke, Mrs. Bert Thomas, Mrs. Louis Buchman, Mrs. Art Maly, Mrs. Paul Richards, Mrs. Lea Jones, Mrs. Eugene Morris, Mrs. Georgia Bolman, Mrs. Dave Lyon, Miss Jen Buchman, Mrs. James McDonald, Mrs. Russell Frazler, Mrs. A.C. An out of town guest speaker will be present and me-mbers of the stake board will attend. jt Relief Society The Bingham ward L. D. S. Relief Society celebrated the ninety-sixt- h anniversary of Re-lief Society organization with a party Tuesday afternoon. The church was prettily decorated with ferns and daffodils. Mrs. Jane Spendlove welcomed) 72 members and guests. Mrs. Edwin Johnson was chairman of the program committee. A reenact-me- nt of organization was given by & group of 21 women. Mrs. Anna Belnap sang a Swiss-Germ- an vocal solo. Mrs. Martin Schultx, Mrs. William Allmarck, Mrs. Jan Nichols, Mrs. Rita M'ockley presented a one-a- ct play. Mrs. Ruby Day was chairman in charge of refreshments. jl Foursome Mrs. Charles Sullenger of Cop-perton entertained the contract bridge foursome Monday, places at luncheon were arranged for Mrs. Heber Nichols, Mrs. James Denver and Mrs. Frank Mead. ff Entertains. Mrs. Hallowell was well known in copperton and Bingham and has been entertained extensively by her wide circle of friends the past few weeks. Brown attended the funeral services of Mr. Lester Ross in Lehl Wed-nesday. Mrs. Jack Edwards was unex-pectedly taken to Bingham hos-pital Tuesday evening where she underwent an appendix opera-tion. She is reported as doing well. Mr. and Mrs. Basil Doman and son Norman were Salt Lake home of Mr. and Mrs. 0. H. Nix. Mrs. Odell Peterson entertain-ed at a nicely planned bridge luncheon Friday afternoon. Two tables of contract bridge were arranged for the following guest list: Mrs. Richard Smith, Mrs. E. V. Knudsen, Mrs. T. W. Ro-gers, Mrs. B. J. Santlstevan, Mrs. Hardy Odell, Mrs. M. C. Colyar, and Mrs. J. D. Knudsen. Prize awards were awarded Mrs. Odell, Mrs. E. V. Knudsen. St. Patrick decorations were used on the tables and throughout the lunch-eon Relief Society was held at the home of M'rs. George Williams Thursday evening. Mrs. Nell Pe-terson had charge of the literary lesson on "The Old Play House". Mrs. L. F. Pett was hostess at a 8 o'clock supper Saturday evening at her hime. Guests were entertained at cards fol-lowing the supper. Mrs. M. C. Colyar entertained friends at a party Wednesday afternoon at her home. The drawing took place at the Copperton Cash Market and little Marlene Dietrich drew the number. The boys had been selling chances on the quilt since February 25, and are putting the money in the fund for their annual trip next sum-mer.
