The county cou-nty appealed from decisions of the district court and circuit court of appeals. The office of County Attorney Harold E. Wallace was waiting to learn the effect of this decision decis-ion on taxes paid in 1936 and 1937, which, as in 1935, were paid under protest. Because the protest receipts had been distributed, the Jordan school district must make up 35.6 per cent of the sum, the state 39.8 per cent and the county cou-nty 24.6 per cent. o |
