Show Will ILI 1 OUST JUVENILE COURT American Leaders Want State to Pay City for Room Where Court Is Held The council last evening passed a reso resolution resolution resolution lution Introduced by Councilman Black ordering the juvenile court to move out of its present commodious quarters on the city side of the city and county building before January 1 and asking the juvenile court commission to pay 7 a month for forthe forthe forthe the rent of f the rooms since January 1 1907 This action was taken because the American leaders resent the action of the legislature in making the Juvenile court a state court Instead of ot a city thus taking away awa from the council whatever power it might have over that institution Ever since the act went Into effect the council has been bitter in its opposition to anything asked for by the court and it was not until Mayor Bransford insisted that two city probation officers were ap appointed appointed appointed pointed |
