Show AN ESTEEMED PIONEER CALLED BY DEATH mrs mary A howard farmer resident of bountiful and sister of ir H and jasper perkins mrs mary ann howard an early reg resident ident of bountiful and a sister of harvey 11 II perkins of bountiful and jasper perkins of Cent centerville erville passed away at her home in salt lake on thursday of last week after a lingering illness of some months mrs howard was born in alpha wo imo and was 78 years old on oil the of last march she came to utah with he her parents wilson and diana anderson perkins when 9 years old arriving in salt lake in october of 1818 1848 18 18 a year after the pioneers the following year she was left an orphan with one sister ami all three brothers all small chilgren chil iren in the spring of 1850 she moved to bountiful where she lived until she was married she spent the greater part of lier her life pioneering she ac compani ed cd her husband to carson valley where he be had been called on a mission to settle return returning ins in the tall fall of 57 she was in the move south when army inhaled utah she was one of the first setters in randalph rich co P nd md after living there a number of yeas y removed amo ed with the tha frist settlers to vernal uinta county although years have passed passe 1 irvey y since ahrn I 1 ren mrs ii idward is be first of tl the r five children ch ildron to go 90 she is survived by her sister sirs mrs elizabeth elizabcth i J belcher three brothers marion havey II 11 and jasper perkins and six children mrs clara D dotman mrs mary green wm win II 11 howard mrs effie wimmer mrs francis me conkie and harvey howard funeral services were held in salt lake city the speakers being I 1 elders john and allen alien howward and bishop iverson interment in the bountiful B cemetery reme tery |
