The 'resolution further says that the re-1 re-1 pre-cntalivei, being in perfect sym-, pathy with the people, will aid, encourage en-courage and maintain them. Gov. 1 Packard, this afternoon, wrote a letter to Auditor Johnson. rel--rring to these resolutions, and adding: "The hiotory of lho stale shows that i almost precisely similar resolutions !were ' adopted by the so-called McEuery legislature during the I first year of my predecessor's i administration, anil were backed 1 up by regularly organized tax-i tax-i reacting organizations.
