An Outlining: Point Within ISO Ulles. Best Route, Ere, Era. Innsmucu as the cry of prospectors is "on lo the Big Ilorn," it is of vital importance to every person who cpn-tempUtea cpn-tempUtea visiting the gold fields to know tlw beat route lo take. The B;g Horn country has long educe been regarded as the land of promiae fur gold seekere, hence nothing need Ijc said of the country but what ia of special importance to everyone is the beat route. There are Ihouaanda :of men throughout the states and territories terri-tories who have their most sanguine hopes fiied on the Big Horn, hence tho importance of the best route. This would necessarily include safety, iirectucss and celerity. The route possessing these advantages must, iu the nature of things, be the Uivorite, as speed and safety are the t wo characteristics of the ago, and every prudent man will consider con-sider these facts. There are several sev-eral routes advocated by which this country can be reached, but the facta show conclusively that the most desirable and practical route ia from Rawlins, Carbon county, Wyoming j territory. Cheyenne ia distant over iUU miles, Green river is 230 miles and Evanston over 300 miles. The route from any of these points muat he for a great portion ot the way over an unknown country, while from Rawlins the distance is not over 150 miles, and that over a road that ia fcnon and haa a bountiful supply of wood, water and grass. There is now a regular mail service on this route forty-five miles out from Rawlins, to-wit:. to-wit:. To the Ferris and Seminole mining districts, where there are three mines now being worked by large companies. Sixty milea oat the road crosses the Sweetwater river by a good wagon bridge. This is the only stream of importance or size on the ruute. . Sixty-five miles out the road passes the famous "Soda Lakes," from which it is sixty miles to the head of Powder river, and from that to tho Big Horn it 13 twenty-fiye milea, THE SECOND ORGANIZED EXPEDITION EX-PEDITION WILL LEAVE RAW-UXS RAW-UXS ABOUT IHE 10TH OF MAY, 1877.
