Si-CTinN 1. lie it ordained by the City Council ff S-ilt Luke City: That any person who shall injure, deface or distruy any building or fixture ther.ol, 1 r iiipire, destroy or oecrite any goods, chattels, or valuah'e papers pa-pers ol another, or prepare any dead till, or dig any pit, or set a gin, or arrange any trap to injure another'.-person another'.-person or property, or tak3 dowu, injure or remove any monument, or any tree marked as a boundary ul any tract n laud, or city lot, or destroy, de-stroy, deface or alter the marks of any monumeut, or injure or destroy any fence, or fountain, or any shade or fruit tree, or any other kind of public or private property, shall be liable to a fine iu any 6um not exceeding ex-ceeding ninety-nine dollars, or to im prisoumeut not to exceed one hundred hun-dred days, or both. Sfio. 2. Any pcrsou who shall kill, maim or disfigure any horse or other domestic animal, the property ol another, or administer poison to any such animal, or expose any poisonout substance, with the intent that it shah be taken by any such animal, shall be lianle to a fine in any Bum not ex ceediiig ninety-nine dollars, or to imprisonment im-prisonment for a term not exceeding : oue hundred days, or both. Sec. 3. Any person who shall falsely represent himself to be an officer ol Salt Lake Cily, or attempt to peraonatc one, or who without au- thnnlvnlmll nurfnrm nnv nftifinl flel tor or iu behalf of any such officer, shall be liable lo a hue in any sum 1 nat exceeding ninety-nine dollars, or lo imprisonment not exceeding one hundred dava, or both. Sec 4. That sections 14, 17, 20 and 23 of Chap. V1L, of the Revised Ordiuauces of Salt Lake City, relating to "Crimea and Puuisbmenti" are hereby repealed. Passed July 31st, 1S77.
