Tue Maonii: fraternity of this city recently engaged the major to ornament the walls of their beautiful temple with the various emblems, enaignia, etc., of Free Masonry in the several degrees, and the work has already progressed to a sufficient extent to prove that the ability and cultivated taste of the artist have not been exaggerated. When completed, the Masonic hall of this city will be-the finest room of the kind in the Rocky Mountains. Major Von Buhlow leaves the city this morning lor San Francisco, aod will return in about a week and proceed to finish his work in Masonic hall, which will engross bis attention for several weeks. |
