That signed by . the women was drawn up and t circulated by the Ladies' Reliei aocie- j ties of L'lah, the members of which are Mormons, and asked congress to ! repeal the anti-polygamy law of 1802, i and the Poland law of 1S74, and to1 admit Utah as a state. The delegate is positive that not one of the signers of this petition was led to think that she was signing a petition for any other objects than those set forth in the memorial.
