Show PERSONAL. Major James Low of Beaver is in town. Mr. W. R. Keithly is in Cheyenne, and y; the Indians want go bock to thefr reservations. United States District Attorney Howard returned to the city last evening with his wife and family. Mr. B. T. Lathrop, special correspondent corres-pondent of the Sau Francisco Call and Bulletin, was in the city on Sunday, Sun-day, en route for the Black Hills. Mr. C. E. Hopkins, representing eleven book and stationery housea in the east, arrived on Sunday and will remain in the city until Wednesday. Dr. Groves, dentist, who has been absent from the city, spending the Centennial holidays, has returned, and nitty be found at his office this morning. Dr. J. M. Benedict, who went to Connecticut several weeks since to perform a critical surgical operation, returned on Sunday evening. He took in the Centennial. Mr. Marcus R. Mayer, formerly of the Eceniii'j Journal, this city, is the business manager of Miss Rose Eytinge, in which capacity he arrived in Salt Lake on Sunday evening. Mr. Theodore McKean returned to his home in this city on Sunday evening, after an absence of nine months in the eat tern states, where he has been on a preaching mission. |
