Show Normal Institute. A teacher's normal institute will be held at the Deseret university next month, commencing at 10 a.m. on August 7ib, and continuing two weeks. The object is to discuss and teach the beet methods of imparting instruction in such branches as are usually taught in the district schools. Some of the most talented teachers in the territory will give their services as instructors. Th institute will be free, and arrangements have been made for greatly reducing the neces sary expenses of those who attend. The railroads give passes to those coming to and returning from the institute, in-stitute, and hotel accommodations at reduced rates have been secured. Dr. J. R. Park, president of the University, will be director of the institute. in-stitute.
