Show The Crops in Weber County. At the quarterly conference of the Weber suke at Ogvlen, on Saturday last, some of the reports of the bishops showed the elite of the crops. From Huntsville, Biuhop Hammond reported re-ported that tbe crops had been nearly, all cut off this year, the yield be ing bushels instead of about 40,000 of Bmall grain. They had also tuflered in hay. The co-op. farm was doing well; as well as could be done considering. They had a good factory put up, with machinery; next summer they intended to make cheese. Btahop Perrin reported from Edoo that the crops were nearly all de stroyed. Bishop Ritchie from Marion's re ported good crops. Bihop Thomas reported from Lyuue, the relief society had atnered so much wheat that they had uo place to put it. They were starting a sheep herd; had now 700 or S00 sheep in the ward, . There are between 3,000 or 4,000 children in Weber . county and about 2,500 in the schools. |
