Laid on the table. Frederick Gob petitioned to purchase, pur-chase, for agricultural purposes, a lot in the 5th ward, known as the "old clay hole." Referred lo the commit tee on public grounds. F. J, P. Pascoe, by petition, represented re-presented that be was the lawful claimant of certain lots in tbe Lime Kiln survey, which were included in ceitain lands deeded to tbe city by M. MacDur), and asked that the city cauae deeds to be executed to bim thereior. Referred to the committee on public grounds. Isaac Trumbo petitioned to have bis restaurant and merchant's licenses transferred to George Arbo-gaet. Arbo-gaet. Granted. Ihe committee on claimtt, to whom was referred the bill of Jesse W. Fox. juo., city surveyor, for sundry surveys sur-veys made from August 13tb lo Octo ber 9tb, and furnishing lumber for stakes, $106.29, reported favorably on said biil and recommended that the amount thereof be allowed and appropriated. ap-propriated. Report adopted. Bill i David James, plumbing and tinwork, city jail, etc., $78.15, was allowed and appropriated. The following appropriations were made: $5,379.17 to pay corporation note ; $1,000 on addition 10 city prison; $1,000 on jailor's new house. j Council adjourned till next Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. |
