Show THE TERRITORIES. Denver has ratified for Hayes and Wheeler. 1 Dr. Lynd of Denver baa discovered and patented tJ process by which raw coals can be used in all kinds of ore reduction, with all the efficiency and speed attained iu tbe use ol prepared coke, thus practically annihilating nearly one-half of the cost of all ore reduction. The process is so arranged that a constant supply of coal in an ignited state is kept in position, bo that a continuous Btreatn of flame, unchecked by the cooling ol large quantities of fresh coal (which would require time to ignile) is made to pay directly upou the ore m tho furnace fur-nace day and night for any deaired length of time. He also has a fire box so constructed that 'a blast cau act upon the coals which are prepared pre-pared by the evolution of their gases, and in the state of ignited carbon. To keep up a constant supply of these ignited and prepared coals, a large oven, erected abovo the lire box and opening into tbe same, is kept filleJ with raw coals, whieh by reason of the heat below are continually throwing throw-ing off their gases aud thus gradually reaching the proper Blate of carbonization, carboni-zation, to be used in the fire box. It is so arranged that those decomposed gases may, in the procc-s of their evolution, be con?uraed in the oven cnaraber if deemed desirable. Three new passenger engines have just been received by the Kio Grande road from the Baldwin locomotive works. Ttie last wo have heard from Gibbon's Gib-bon's command left him on the Yellowstone river on tho 14:h ult. He had then heard nothing from Crook and did not know where he waa.
