Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Luke City: That any person who shall injure-, deface or destroy any building or fixture thereof, or injure, destroy or secrete any goods, chattels, or valuable papers pa-pers of another, or prepare n ny dead-fiil, dead-fiil, or dig any pit, or set a gin, or arrange any trap to injure another's person or property, or take down, injure or remove any monument, or any tree marked as a boundary ol any tract nl land, or city lot, or destroy, de-stroy, deface or alter the marks of any monument, or injure or destroy any fence, or fountain, or any ehade or fruit tree, or any other kind of; public or private property, shall be liable to a fine in any 6Um not exceeding ex-ceeding ninety-nine dollars, or to imprisonment im-prisonment not to exceed one hundred hun-dred days, or both. Any person who shall kill, maim or disfigure any horse or other domestic animal, the property of another, or administer poison to any such animal, or expose any poisonous subatance.with the intent that it shall be taken by any such animal, shall be liable to a fine in any sum not exceeding ex-ceeding ninety-nine dollars, or to imprisonment im-prisonment for a term not exceeding one hundred days, or both.
