The clergy and other leading men are pushing it along actively, aud large numbers of people are Bigning the temperance pledge. A principal feature fea-ture of this movement is that an intemperate in-temperate denunciation of liquor dealers is avoided. Mr. Marshall said it was the traffic, not the dealers, they condemned.
