Show Terrible Connaeratiou. Hot Springs, Ark, 5. About 1.80 o'clock this morning, fire broke out in a shanty occupied by a negro named Greenlee. The fire com-Municated com-Municated to the French restaurant, and thence north and south on both sides of the street. All the buildings are burned north of Rockafellow's drug eLore, aud eouth below the Malvern crossing. About 250 buildings build-ings have been destroyed and immenie amounts of goods. As thtre is but one street in the valley, the steamer was cut off aud could afford no relief to tbe lower end of the town until the flames had been checked above them. The borees, firemen and, engine dashed through tbe flames to the Sumptsr house and come around the avenue and Quinn hi 1, and are now, at 8 o'clock, fixating the fire at the south end of the town. Among the buiidiugs destroyed at Hot Springs are the American and Erl hnluK the French restaurant, Valley and State banks, post office, Thft Daily Sentinel office, and Hoff man & Hamilton's bathhouse, the Western Union telegraph office, B ake i Co., jewelers, lbs Mausice b;iih bouse. It is impossible to estimate the loss, but it will be $-200,000 or &500.U00. Tbe mountaiua are covered with people driven from shelter, and goods carried from the stores. No lives lost.
