Show Miss Maby Anderson, besides being one of' the most gifted actreBsea on the stage, is a right good social girl, one of the delightfully home-like, agreeable darlingi that tbe reporters like to talk to. Mary has recently been telling theFaber-driverB in New York all about herself that is to say, ail that it ie proper for reporters re-porters and the public to know about her. She tells the enterprising young men who interview her that she Bleeps sweetly, tnai one baB one ot those ota fashioned farm girl appetites, which satisfies itself with onions and steak, substantial slices of bread, corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and all of those home necessaries in the country. Her delight is a "nice underdone bee'-steak, and not a very small one at that." There is some fun in interviewing inter-viewing a big-hearted girl like Mary. A fellow doesn't feel as if he were rumpling her clothes when talking to her. |
