Show Who Is the Judas Iscariot? On Thursday the grand jury presented pre-sented in court three bills of indictment, indict-ment, but against whom the Heeald is not supposed to know, neither is it presumed that the public or individuals, indivi-duals, as audi, know who the accused parties are. The only ones, up to the present time, entitled to the information in-formation are the jurors who found the bills, the court, the clerk, the district attorney and the court's executive exe-cutive officers; yet at noon, yesterday, yester-day, if not before, it was reported in New York City that Kou.tieo.Q. Cannon Can-non was indicted lor polygamy; nnd it is believed that a dispatch to that effect was telegraphed from this city. Mr. Cannon may have beenor may yet be indicteJ; if he is not, it will not be on account of any love borne him by the "Utah ring," who would only be too happy to harass and annoy an-noy him by procuring an indictment against him with the hope of thereby injuring his influence as delegate to Congress. But if the gvntlemau has been indicted, who has betrayed the court secret? Who iu this community commun-ity would be interc-ted in spreading this news broadcast through the country? Let the "ring" attaches of the court answer. |
