Show Fire at Santaquin. A letter from Suntaquin, Utah Co., says that on the evening of the 7th, the barn, extensive stables, cow sheds, and corrals of Mr. Butterfield, of that place, together with thirty tons of hay, were destroyed by fire. When the fire was discovered a number num-ber of horses and some cattle were in 1 the barn, but they were all saved. It was generally believed to be the work of an incendiary, as there had been no fire near the premises for several days. The loss was estimated at $1,000 or $1,200. |
