Cora Conway cv.Jeter Clinton ..-suit ..-suit for $19,053 damages for the alleged al-leged wilUit destruction of plaintiffs property, said destruction having been performed in the execution ot of writ of abatement as a nuisance issued by Justice Clinton; Robertson & McBride, McCurdv & Morgan for plaintitl; Z. Snow, Sutherland & -Bates lor defendants. Able arguments to tho court and jury were made by Messrs. Morgan ami Melinite for the plaintiff, and Messrs. Sutherland und Bates for the defense; after which tho court charged the jury, occupying one hour in delivering his instructions. At; o'clock ttio jurors were sent out, cnurt taking a recess till 7 p.m. On tue reassembling of court the jury presented a verdict for plaintifl and against defendants, Jeter Clinton, Clin-ton, J. D. T. McAllister, Charles Crow and William Hjde, forSG.iUO. By stipulation of counsel it was agreed that the judgment should be entered without prejudice to a motion tor a new trial, to bo made by de-lendanU' de-lendanU' counsel within five days. Alter thanking the jury for their constant attendance during the term and for the faithful performance of their duty, the court excused them from further attendance at the present pres-ent term of court. .
