Show Iron City. Yesterday Mr. A. J. Stewart, general gen-eral business agent of the Great Western West-ern Iron Manufacturing Company, arrived from Iron City, tho location of the company's works. He reports the roads south of this city in a heavy condition, being soft and cut up with travel. The company's furnace has not started up, but every preparation has been ntade to put i'. in operation as soon as tho roads will permit ol taking their engine from near Pioche to Iron City. .jJTlio foundry will be tired up in a few days. This Winter has bceii a severe one in Southern Utah, morcsnuw having fallen ii Iron and adjacent counties than in any previous Winter since the country was settled. |
