Show Theatre. Last night night ' So-garth So-garth Aroon" was repeated, having keen lopped of some of its exhuberaat i dialogue with advantage. If it were still more reduced it would play better, bet-ter, and we recommend the author tp take it io hand. This is not spoakiog slightingly ithdr of tho gentleman's abilities or the drama, for somo of the most successful plays on tho boards havo had to bo so treated. Even Shakos peare's reading edition wouldn't play well. To-night Tobin's fine old eoniady of iho " Honeymoon" will be presented for tho first time in a long period, Mr. Bates appearing as the Duke, Miss Walters as Juliana, Mr. Margett as the Mock Duko, Mr Thome as Rolando, Ro-lando, with a full cast. It will be followed fol-lowed by " That Blessed Baby," Miss Walters and Mr. Graham as the fond and dotiDg " parients." This makes a good comedy bill. |
