Tho national board of trhdo commenced at tho City Hall this afternoon. Delegates were present trom rian Francisco, Baltimore, Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Detroit, Milwaukee, Milwau-kee, Boston, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Or-leans, Louisville, Buflrtlo, Troy, Salem, Mass., Wilmington, Del., Newiirk and Galv-ston. Frederick Traley, ot St. Louis, was elecled permanent chairman. A delegation was also present from the Dominion Hoard of Trade, headed by Hon. John Young, and was admitted to seats. Young, returning thanks for the courtesy, spoke of the disadvantage lo both countries from tho want of a reciprocity reci-procity treaty. The Canadians wanted all barriers to trade thrown down, but until tho United States national debt was reduced they didn't desire this.
