Show Tue Concert. The arrangements for tho benefit concort for the hospital arc progressing favorably. Tho rehearsals re-hearsals have dovclopcd the existence of talent which ought to afford our citizens many a music! treat. While we do not disparage the abilities of others still but few, cities can boast of a more thorough musician and efficient effi-cient leader than professor Careless, and we speak advisodly in saving that the promoters of tho concert rely as much upon his aid as upo n that of any other person, and regret any attempt to magnify themselves at his ' expense or at tho cuponse of others of tho experioncod and able musicians I among the Mormons. Tho oo-opora-1 tion of all the musical talent of the oity is desired and undoubtedly good results will accrue for tbo benefit of tho enterprise for which the concert is intended. ( |
