Show From a Gentleman from Parley's Park we have the following condensed summary of the condition and prospects pros-pects of several of the mines in those localities: The shaft of the MoHcnry mine is down 100 feet, showing nice quartz. About 150 feet southwest from the McHenry is the Fairmount lode, owned by general Connor & Co. the tunnel is in about 90 fcet.ahowiog a fine ledge with granite hanging wall. Hearst & Co. are working twelve men on the Ontario mine, which shows a regular vein of high grade ore for a distance of 200 feet. The Flagstaff mine, now owned by an eastern company, com-pany, contemplates working twenty men. The Norfolk, Aurora, Nevada and Hidden Treasure are the principal prospects on the hill; the Norfolk is down eighty feet, showing a good vein of pay ore. From this succtnt statement it ill bo seen that the prospects of these districts are brightening with development |
