Bowles makes the following statement: On the 1 1th of Ocrobcr last I left London for the United States, and on my arrival ar-rival at New York completed arrangements arrange-ments for a permanent relief of the firm's business. Bowles wtnt on to say that the two brothers went to Inglci-ide, telegraphed for a hotel at Uulyoko, aod another telegram was sent making appointment there for Monday, with counsel from both New York and Boston.
