G.imb!e, of the Pacific Pa-cific division of the We-.tern Union telegraph tel-egraph company, Is preparing to extend that company's lines from Hamilton, Neyada, to Pioche, tho route being very short and practicable. This new outlet for Piocho business has been discussed a long time. It will save much delay and several repetitions of business, which were unavoidable by tho old routo via Salt Lake City and Cgden. District superintendent Frank Bell his already commenced taking down an old unused line of some forty or fifty miles in length, running from Austin, Nevada, eastward, and purposes pur-poses using the tt'ire in starting the construction of the new route.
