Show Tub Harvest lv Box Elder County. Coun-ty. Our correspondent Oti. informs us, th', harvesting i mon izme the attention of the farmers ia Box Elder county, almost to tbe exclusion ol everything else. He says never since the settlement of that place, has a more bountiful harvest been gathered than tbat of the present season, and whereas where-as a year or two ago the cry was, "where can I got some grain," theory this year is, "whai shall I do with my grain." The farmers, according toonr correspondent, are troubling themselves too much on this subject. He advises that they should store it away and take caro of it, and adds : "A market will seek them if they do not seek a a market too eagerly, for by doing the latter they destroy a market that might otherwise be created. Let us be wise and prudent and make a good use of what nature has blessed us with. In the time of plenty prepare for famine." This is good advice, but every person cannot always affjrd to store away the proceeds of of his year's labor. There are daily necessities arising which must be met, yet, with all these things in view, we hope our farmers will act wisely and not sacrifice for a song the result of their toil. |
