Show D. A. & M. Society. At a meeting of tlie Board of Directors Direc-tors of the D. A. it M. Society, last evening, it was voted that J. E. Johnson John-son be awarded $0 on his collection of oils, medicines, etc., exhibited at the Fair; and that he have the first prize fer his essay on apiculture. It was also unanimously voted that A. M. Musser be delegate to attend the irrigation irri-gation convention at Denver, on the 15th instant. Several bilk lor expenses were then 1 presented und passed. I We congratulate Mr. Johnson on this just recognition of his efforts in the direction indicated. The essay on bees, to which the prize was awarded, will appear in the II hr vi.d at an early date. |
