Show Railroad Progress. The grading grad-ing of the Reno end of the irginia 1 and Trnekee Railroad is progressing at I a very energetic rate, four miles beinc J already completed. The tract is laid J from the Central Pacific Railroad as ! far as the river, at the point where the new bridge is beingbuilt. This bridge wiil be completed in about sixty days, when -.he laying of the rails will be done in t-hort order and the locomotive started running over several miles of the new road. Mr. J. J. Holmes, who supervised the grading between here ' and Carson, is now attending to the grading at the Reno end. He has 100 ; Chinamen employed as graders under him, and considering that they commenced com-menced July loth, not quite a month ago, most excellent progress certainly his been made. Two months hence, at at that rate, twelve miles of the road will be completed, or pretty well along toward Steamboat Springs, giving but a short piece of stage travel over the Geicer grade, to connect with the cars.
