Show C. R B. K. FiVKinnT. By a letter from San b'ranoisco dated Dec, 22nd, we learn that the Central Pacific refused re-fused to receive freight for Salt Lake until (heir road was repaired. We don't know where their road is out of repair except we.-t of Sacramento, to which point freight could be conveyed up the river, as their passengers now 1 are. This refusal to receive freight ! may prove a very serious inconvenience inconven-ience to busiucss men here, and is unjustifiable un-justifiable when the passenger trains are running through nearly on time, which shows that tho road is not much out of repair. |
