Show Called. We had a pleasant visit yesterday from W. C. Campbell, Esq., correspondent of the Aha California, and General Witchell, of Virginia. Both gentlemen are in town and will remain for some little time. 0. H. LaGrange, Esq., superintendent superinten-dent of the branch mint, San Francisco, also dropped in to see us, having made a brief visit to this city with Mrs. La-Grange, La-Grange, on his way to the Coast from the East, The gentlemen all expressed themselves them-selves freely in admiration of our city, its quiet and order, and its fine and pleasant situation and surroundings. |
