Incorporated J y. The Pacific Pneumatic Gas Company Compa-ny is prepared to contract with gentle men residing in Utah Territory and adjacent States, to erect gas works at their residences, and give them every advantage in light, which inhabitants of large cities possess, at ' less rate than coal-gas companies charge in this State. Also, to contract with hotel proprietors, proprie-tors, saloon and store-keepers, trustees of churches, principals of schools and colleges, and mining, manufacturing and railroad companies, to give them a far more brilliant light thau can be obtained ob-tained from coal-oil lamps, at less cost in proportion to the light given. KCOMiMU'AI. OAS flH COL'NTRY 1" W Ns, The great cost of making, on a oma:l scale, coal gas, passably free from impurities, im-purities, has prevented the introduction introduc-tion of this prime convenience of modern times into small towns, and the generally bad quality and high price of the production, where coal-gas works have been erected, in oilier than the largest cities, have limited the consumption con-sumption to less than one-half what it would be if the gas were good and furnished fur-nished as cheap a light as kerosene oil. When gas of fair quality can be manufactured wilh inexpensive works, and at a reasonable price, every little town, with even one well-built street, will have its gas work, aid the profits of the manufacturers will be more certain cer-tain and more liberal than those now earned by most country gas companies. The scientific and general press have repeatedly called attention to the field for discovery opened to inventors in solving the question. " hat shall we do fir a sale light, more satisfactory thau oil, and so cheap that the poorc-t can lis..- it ?" Many sHutioiis H' (his lUcstion have Ken piopc-H. but hitherlo experience has shown that all were inferior lor some cau-c or other, when brought into practice, to the old method of generating illuminating gas. The Pacific Pneumatic lias Company, Com-pany, however, claim- lo have answered an-swered the question fully, and is prepared pre-pared to erect wo;ks which will furnish fur-nish gas, free from ail imiritics and superior in brilliincy to the bc-t coal gas. at from one-third to one-fourth the cost at which, iu this Stale, ceal gas, iu quantities of from .iMi lo -'1,1'i.K1 cubic feet per day, can be made. The principle of these works 'or small lowns. is the same a- (hat u-ed in our dome-lie works; the difference is in the method of compressing the atmosphere, and of charging it with the va pora of gasolene. In works for towns a rotary air pump, driven by a smalt steam engine, or other steady motive power, forces thr air ri, -01071 the gasolene, -making an excessively rich ga-. This is collected into a gas-I gas-I holder, and then, by the admission of j air direct from the pump, it i diluted I in the proporiious of one, two or three I parts of almo-pbore to one of y;ts. a-1 a-1 in the judgment of the operator, guided guid-ed by a test-light, may be desirable lo bring (he contents m hc desired quality. The l'aeilic Pneumatic Gas Company Com-pany has erected works on this principle prin-ciple at Marc Island, for the United States Navy Dep.iri iiieiil, . which arc producing excellent gas lu ail :, tti-oni'itury tti-oni'itury iw riiiit. Gentlemen who propose investing in any g i company for supplying interior towns, are requested re-quested to call upon die olliccrs of the Pacific Pneumatic Gas Company, who will furnish accurate aud detailed accounts ac-counts of tho results obtained, and accompany ac-company parties meaning business (0 Mare Island, for tho purpose of showing show-ing the works in operation.
