Show Teas. Mr. Mark Lindsay brought us yesterday three varieties of the finest peas which we have seen in the country. Large pods with unusually large peas inside, very prolific, and coming early, are the recommenda-tiors recommenda-tiors which they have for popular favor. One kind, the "Lexington Supreme," will dry and preserve the same flavor as when green, which should alone make it sought after by housekeepers. Mark raises the finest quality of the earliest vegetables and small fruits, and a superior quality should always command a higher price than an inlerior. If YOU want a glass of cool lager or ale to please the palate, step into Chris. Rehmke's beer hall, next door to the Merchants Exchange. A ''bit" a glass ! ' adv |
