OCR Text	DEATH OF H C BANKS Once a Wealthy Banker Killed While Stealing a Ride Kansas City Mo June 2SH C Banks of Pueblo Colo was run over and almost instantly killed by a Santa Fe railway fast mail train eastbound last night at the Santa Fe depot in Argentine I is supposed he was beating beat-ing his way into Kansas City on the train and fell under the wheels Ten years ago Mr Banks was among the wealthiest men in Pueblo With a brother he conducted the Banks Bros bank and was influential in the affairs political mercantile of the city He lost his fortune in speculation The body is now in an undertaking establishment estab-lishment in Argentine
