Show RURAL FREE DELIVERY D1LVERY System Will Extended Under Increased creased Appropriation I Washington June 2SA circular letter let-ter has been issued by First Assistant Assist-ant Postmaster General Heath to the postmasters of the 140 offices from Which the present experimental test of rural free delivery radiates informing them that as congress has continued I and i caelthe appropriation for the coming fIscal year all rural carriers now in the service may consider their contracts renewed unless otherwise ordered or-dered by the postmaster general These experiments will also be extended to other states and communities which have not hitherto had any of the advantages ad-vantages of rural free delivery and into localities where the service can be established at the least cost There ar many districts where rural free del de-l can be started without any extra cost to the government by the aboli tion of star routes and minor post offices which will thus be superseded |
