OCR Text	Show a SHOT BY ROBBERS Attempting to Defend Property a Woman Is Fatally Wounded Kansas City Dec 811rs Emma Shumacher keeper of a grocery store at Eighteenth and Campbell streets was fatally shot tonight by robbers who demanded the cash in her money drawer draw-er In attempting to defend her property prop-erty Mrs Schumacher drew a revolver and was shot down by the robbers The two men then ran out and drove away in a buggy The woman is shot in the abdomen and at the city hospital it is stated that she cannot recover
