Show MIXTXG XEIAU WILLARD A Number of Mines That Have Been Worked All Winter Saturday W A Dalton of Willard was in Brigham In answer to questions ques-tions put by a Bugler reporter he said there were really good prospects of a mining boom near Willard There are between thirtyfive and forty mines and claims in the group They are all in the mountains east of Willard the farthest being not over three or four miles from the town and the Union Pacific railroad One the Orphan Or-phan Girl is located in the extreme tops of the jagged summits Some of the mines have been actively worked all winter Work will be started on others early this spring Word came to Willard last week that a company had been formed with a capital stock of 1000000 Of this amount 10000 had been deposited in an Ogden bank and a fiOO foot tunnel will at once be commenced com-menced on one of the best claims Of late a number of mining men have been up inspecting the property and seem favorably impressed Numerous gratifying assays have been made on ore or croppings from the various shafts and claims Brigham City Bugler |
