Show MRS MACKINTOSH IS DEAD PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY AT AX S1DDEXLY EARLY HOUR YESTERDAY Her HiiHbaiid Hon Richard Mackintosh Mackin-tosh Ilowed Down With Grief She Was 1 Most Etitliiialile Lady and Shone in Society and Benevolence Benev-olence Funeral Tomorrow The announcement of the death cf Mrs Mackintosh wife of Hon Richard Mackintosh came yesterday as a shock not only to the immediate friends of the lady but to the general public I will be remembered that about two weeks ago Mrs Mackintosh was seized with a sudden Illness and her condition for a day or two was considered critical but sho took a turn for the better and it was generally believed that she Was not il any danger However at bout 2 oclock yesterday morning she v as again the victim of a sudden attack amid an hour later she passed away in spito ot the fact that everything that medical skill could dovise was done in her behalf be-half halfMi Mi Mackintosh was completely crushed crush-ed by the unexpected blow for which he was entirely unprepared and the sympathy sym-pathy of a host of friends goes out to him in his hour of breavement The deceased leaves no lamily but she was one of the most prominent ladies in the city She was cultured and refined and in society circles was a general favorite She was a charming hostess and her elegant and tasteful home ont on-t > biicei was the bccne under un r direction of many pleasant gatherings With works of charity and benevolence she was strongly identified and contributed con-tributed freely of her ample means and her time to the alleviation of distress in its many forms She will be greatly mlssod not only by society people but by the poor and needy of the city The funeral will take place on Sunday and announcement of the details oC the arrangements rangements will be made today Mrs Mackintosh ws 37 years of age and was born at Bostolit Mass She was the daughter df George Goss the well known engineer of this city who was enSineer prominently of the Rio Grande identified Western with the building |
