I A BRUSH Two Steamers Come Together Inc I In-c York Bay NEWYORK Nov 13The big new freighter Persia of the Hamburg I American line collided with an outward out-ward bound steamer tonight Details of the accident were hardly obtainable tonight The chief officer of the Persia ws quite adverse to talking about the affair when seen on board his ship as she lay at her dock in Hoboken tonight to-night He admitted that the Persia had brushed against another steamer steam-er He refused to say just how the accident occurred He did not know the name of the steamer of which his steamer was in collision nor did he know fo which line she belonged The other ship was not injured and the damage to the Persia was slight and all above the water line It was learned from an official of the line who was seen on the dock that two children were injured both having their hands crushed Further information informa-tion regarding the collision could not be had
