WOMfN ARMm WIH GUNS I I MISS CANNEL TOOK A SHOT AT MRS ROSE M I Great Row In An Italian Tenement House Two Women Arrested For Deadly Assault A disturbance in the Italian tenement house at S57 South Seventh East last night resulted In the arrest of Miss Mary Cannel and Mrs Catherine lower each charged with assault with intent to kill The complainant in each case Is Mrs Rose The three women are neighbors and have on several occasions oc-casions manifested their dislike for each other It is i said this being particularly ularlj true between Miss Cannell and Mrs Rose Last night the two had some words and the Cannel woman whipped out a pistol and fired at lr Rose according to the latter The girl claims she shot In the air for the purpose of intimidating the other women who she says was calling her vie names and had Insulted her continually con-tinually during the day Mrs Mower fired no shots but having in her possession pos-session a revolver was brought to the station and locked up with Miss Cannel Can-nel Their bonds have been fixed ai 750 each Those in the neighborhood assert that I the trouble is in a great measure due to jealousy on the part of 1n Rose and are Inclined to justify Miss Cannel Can-nel n u
