DOWN TO WATERv The Galena Xing Now Ripe For a Concentrator Manager George W E Dorsey of the Galena King reported yesterday that the new shaft reached the water level at a depth of 775 feet on Sunday and the next thing to be done was Ho connect con-nect with the old workings from the 700foot mark in the new shaft We are making regular shipments of finstclass ore said Colonel Dorsey yesterday and one follows another in rapid succession but I am now anxious to get in a concentrating plant to handle the immense quantity of sec ondclass ore at the mine Now that the water level has been reached there is little doubt that Mr Dorsey will soon have a concentrating mill in i operation near t < he mine as a water supply is now assured The Galena Ga-lena Xing is one of the biggest propositions propo-sitions at Stockton and in the hands of Mr Dorsey will make an enviable record a a producer and ere 10ng l as a dividendpayer
