Show revision week supplemental instruction to registrars istra rs revision week is from september to inclusive in order to secure uniformity of action on the part of all registration officers and prevent any airy misunderstanding by the electors the commission issues the following supplemental instructions I 1 that portion of the statutes stat utes re relating to the time for a revision of the registry lists P S 3 page vol I 1 compiled laws of 1888 and rule III of instructions is con by the commission to mean that each registrar 0 shall at any time during the week commencing monday sep september enter on his registry list the name of any voter that may have been omitted on such voter ap appearing pearin 1 kand and complying with the provisions of the law relating to registration matters etc 11 II the registrars or their deputies in the cities of salt lake ogden logan 0 park city and provo should be in their offices for the transaction of business during each day of the revision week from 9 to 12 a an 1 to 5 p m and 7 to 9 p in III in all other precincts in in the territory except the above named the registrars or deputies should be at their offices or usual place of conducting registration work during the whole of the last day to wit saturday september for the purpose of attending to all matters relating to the revision of ct the lists not previously completed IV the compensation for such services will not in any case exceed three 3 dollars per day for the time actually and necessarily employed in doing the work V all accounts for services should be rendered when the work has been completed and the books prepared for posting and for the judges and county clerks an and d should be calef carefully ully prepared to avoid delays the commission calls attention to every detail as laid down in the instructions and statutes and ask that all registration officers see to it that these provisions are faithfully carried out by order of the board of registration and election JERROLD R LETCHER chairman office of utah commission salt lake city utah sept 1894 |
