A CANADIAN PACIFIC VICTORY Differetials Allowed Jt to Apply to liaudoii Ont Chicago Dec 19The Canadian Pacific has gained a decided victory that cajsed no end of trouble for the roads in the Central Traffic association notably the Grand Trunk and the Michigan Central When the meeting convened this mornIng morn-Ing the Canadian Pacific demanded tnat the differentials which had been allowed itlO and 15 via Port Arthur and 5750 and 45 via the Shasta route should be made to apply on the territory as far south as London Ont The western roads at once refused the request and the matter mat-ter was under debate for the entire day At 5oclock this afternoon the western lines were firm in their position and they would under no conditions grant the differentials dif-ferentials which would allow the Canadian Cana-dian Pacific > to tap die territory of the Grind Trunk and the Michigan Central An hour latter however they hal changed chang-ed their minds and it was announced that the differential would apply on business at London as requested by the Canadian Pacific TMs will bring the nines of the Central Traffic association squarely into the fight
